The Hume
Datahub SDK is a middleware
toolset. The core Datahub capabilities of the toolset are: - In-memory
SQL database - Subscription
server - Message
system server - Configurable
Tcl/Tk interpreter
The synergistic combination of these capabilities creates a powerful new
architecture for distributed applications. The Datahub SDK enables you to easily integrate
SECS equipment into distributed applications.
The
Message system capability is known as the Distributed Message Hub (DMH).
It
can be used to bridge a variety of operating systems, hardware
platforms, and programming languages to create an
integrated system.
The Datahub capabilities are built
into a general purpose Tcl/Tk interpreter. It is a tremendous
performance advantage to be able to install custom procedures and
subscription logic for execution in the Datahub process where the shared
SQL table data resides. The
Datahub software is portable and is available for popular operating
systems, including Linux, HP-UX, Windows, and Solaris.
